These are much nicer looking than high bay lights and way more efficient. They also don't get very hot to the touch. They seem to have a great heat sink system. You can put your hand on them, even after they have been on for a while. You would burn yourself on other lights. I replaced my old high bay lights that had the spiral CFL bulbs in them. These are way more efficient and have no mercury or UV rays in them.
